Uttar Pradesh Police have become aware of a viral video in which a woman is seen abusing and beating security personnel at a housing complex. The woman, identified as Bhaavya Roy, was arrested after a complaint was filed against her by Noida Police.

CDA Ashutosh Dwivedi confirmed the woman was arrested after a complaint was filed against her. The police have registered a case against Roy under sections 323, 504 and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
The video went viral yesterday and many people called on the authorities to take action against the lady. The woman was filmed physically and verbally assaulting a security guard at a housing company in Noida in what appeared to be a blatant example of class discrimination.

The woman seemed to feel like she came from a privileged background. She apparently argued with the guards over why there was a slight delay in opening the doors. “Learn to respect women,” Bhaavya can be heard shouting at the guards.
Bhaavya even grabbed a guard by the collar and punched him in the face. He can also be heard abusing the Bihari people in the video. The incident reportedly took place at Jaypee Group Wish Town in Sector 128 of Noida. According to reports, Bhaavya Roy is a lawyer and works in a well-known law firm.
According to videos shared on Twitter, the woman was arrested and taken to the police station. However, instead of taking her to the police station in a police vehicle, the police allowed her to drive her car and a policewoman sat next to her in the car. People on social media are criticizing the police for this “VIP treatment” of the woman. According to our information, the car was also seized by the police.

Bhaavya Roy was seen smiling as she was taken to the police station, and she also refused to respond to reporters.
Speaking about the incident, the guard who was assaulted said the woman started abusing him by rolling down the window, and when he asked her not to abuse him as he had already opened the door, she stood up. offended, got out of the car, and began to mistreat him further. The guard also claimed that the woman behaved like this earlier as well.
The incident follows a similar incident in Noida, where a video of a Shrikant Tyagi harassing and abusing a resident of the Omaxe Grand housing corporation has gone viral on social media. Reports suggest that the altercation between the two took place after the woman objected to Tyagi’s illegal construction and occupation of the park. Following the viral video, Tyagi was booked by Noida Police.
Several illegal Tyagi encroachments were bulldozed by authorities following the incident. UP police then arrested Tyagi from Meerut. Noida Police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 for anyone giving information about Tyagi leading to his arrest.
